Looking Back 2014…
During unit one, we enjoyed make shape collages. We made many new friends during the first few weeks of school!
We enjoyed exploring water’s movement using dippers, squeeze bottles, and spray bottles.
We decorated pizzas and read The Little Red Hen Makes A Pizza.
We experimented with chalk drawings.
We made bird feeders with sunflower seed butter, pinecones, and birdseed.
It was fun to hang the bird feeders in the trees near our classroom!
We enjoyed a stamping activity using paint and a variety of kitchen utensils. It was interesting to compare the the different prints!
We enjoyed writing letters to our friends and delivering them. Giving mail can be even more fun than receiving it!
We experimented with color mixing at the easel.
Building our own pinata was one of our favorite activities. We loved whacking it and collecting goodies!
We made hearing aids out of clay during our Deaf Culture unit.
We had a blast putting on performances in our dramatic play center.
One of our favorite days was when Mr. Dylan came to our classroom to put on a concert for us. We held balloons to feel the vibrations from the music.
We even got to play some of Mr. Dylan’s instruments.
We searched for treasures and made collections in our sensory table.
We built and decorated gingerbread houses!
We played with gingerbread playdough mats!
We look forward to even more fun in 2015! Be sure to check out our future preschool fun!
