The Library (printable brochure) at the Maine Educational Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Governor Baxter School for the Deaf (MECDHH/GBSD), is located on Mackworth Island in Falmouth. It provides library and information services to both the Center School and to Statewide Educational Services. We maintain two, inter-related collections: the Student Collection and the Parent Professional Deafness (PPD) Collection. The PPD Collection, unique in the State of Maine, is searchable online via MaineCat. To request items from our PPD Collection, ask your local or school librarian for InterLibrary Loan assistance. For additional information on borrowing, please contact the library staff.
